Amira Louadah was born in Algiers. From 2014 to 2021, she studied design and visual arts at l'Ensci, les Ateliers de Paris, developing enthusiasm for directing and storytelling. Her career was marked by founding visits, notably to Chang Maï in Thailand and New York in the United States, where she made her first field recordings. It collects and deploys its perceptions in an empirical and exploratory approach. In 2017, she directed her first short fiction film, in partnership with the CNRS: "A non-newtonian dinner"; who won the first prize of the ASAA scientific festival in New-York, is selected in official competition at the Châlon Festival Tout-Short, and projected during the Biennale de Saint-Etienne and the exhibition Quai des savoirs in Toulouse. In 2020, her documentary film "La grosse moula ou li michan" was selected by several international festivals, notably in London, Oran, Constantine, and Paris. Her latest film "The Ark" won the Renaud Victor Award at FID Marseille 2022, and was selected in official competition at the Camden Film Festival in Rockland and at the Rencontres internationales du documentaire in Montreal.
